As I write this article, I cannot help smile. It seems like the other day when I was pregnant. My daughter, Aiyana, is now four years old. It was hard adjusting to my ever growing body.

I’ve always been small and at it was hard adjusting to my larger size. My belly kept getting bigger, and bigger, and bigger… At times I was wondering when it would pop? I loved being pregnant.

Did I use natural remedies during pregnancy? You bet! Aromatherapy was still part of my daily lifestyle. I didn’t use all the one’s that I normally use. I used the following essential oils during pregnancy;

  1. Lavender essential oil
  2. Rose essential oil
  3. Rose geranium essential oil
  4. Rosewood essential oil

Healing Yourself Naturally’s Skin Toner

August 20, 2007 | 3 Comments

Healing Yourself Naturally’s Homemade Facial Toner

2 cups of distilled water
1 cups of witch hazel
4 drops of Geranium essential oil
3 drops of tea tree essential oil
2 drops of rosewood essential oil

Directions
Store in a glass or aluminum bottle.

How To Use

  • Shake well before each use. The reason why you have to shake it is because the essential oils will float to the top during storage.
  • Dab affected areas with cotton wool two or three times a day. (Another alternative is to put your facial toner in a spray bottle. You would then shake and spritz your face. That’s my method)

The witch hazel and the essential oils will aid in cleaning your skin and help unclog your pores. They also help by giving and antibiotic protection to your skin.

This is another holistic remedy that can be used to clean your skin. The natural ingredients used are simple but extremely helpful ways to keep your skin naturally beautiful. Enjoy!
